YOGYAKARTA - The local committee of SBMPTN 2018 UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) had a socialization to schools related to the PDSS, SNMPTN, SBMPTN, Jalur Mandiri, and UPNVY profile in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 (MUHI) Yogyakarta, Friday (26/01/2018) .

In front of about 80 students, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Irhas Efendi explained that there are three paths to enter UPNVY namely SNMPTN, SBMPTN and Seleksi Mandiri.

"SNMPTN is a selection based on the value of student report cards for 5 semesters, while SBMPTN is a selection held jointly by all state universities. The financing of SNMPTN is borne by the State while SBMPTN is subsidized partly by the Government, "said Irhas.

Irhas said that UPNVY will open registration for the Independent Selection path (Jalur Mandiri) after SBMPTN selection is closed.

UPNVY applies a Single Tuition payment system (UKT) which is paid by the same amount for each semester. The amount of UKT will be assessed from the parent's ability.

Irhas reminded the school to immediately fill the PDSS which would be closed on February 10, 2018.

On the same day, UPNVY also conducted a socialization to SMA Negeri Gamping, Sleman with the Secretary of LPPM, Hendro Wijanarko, as the keynote speaker. (wwj / humas)
