SLEMAN - As the times of technology progress and advances, universities are required to improve in producing competent graduates. For that reason, since 2012 universities have begun to use KKNI (Indonesia National Qualification Framework) as a reference for learning. Through KKNI, a graduate will have not only a diploma but also the SPI (Letter of Accomplishment diploma) that can be obtained from internships or professional certification.
UPN through the Center of Mineral Studies held a training of BNSP "K3 Migas Expert” on 22-25 February 2018 at Audio Visual Center for Mineral Geotechnology Study, Campus 2 UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta. This event was followed by the public, students, fresh graduates, and practitioners.
On the first day, it held the material presentation from Pusdiklat Cepu and practitioners. On the second day,it held the materials and tools practice. On the third day, it held some material and simulation in the field. Peak, the exam wase held on Sunday in the form of written exams and interviews.
"The assessors were directly from LSP Energi Jakarta, and the certificates were issued by BNSP. This SPI grade is very high that it will be very useful. The universities that conduct it are only UGM and UPN, "said Drs. KRT. Nur Suhascaryo, M.T when met at the Museum of Geology.
