SLEMAN - To educate the prospective workforce, the Student Association (HMPS) of Industrial Engineering held Industrial Ceremony Workshop (ICW) 2018 at Seminar Room of Agus Salim Building, Tambakbayan Campus on Saturday (7/4). Having the theme of "Self-Optimization Toward a Self-Establishment Workforce in Facing Demographic Bonus Indonesia", this seminar presented a key note speaker of Yestaka Sabyoga from PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur, Tbk, Humaina S.Si, MBA from PT Pertamina Persero, and Skolastika Meta W.T., S.Psi from PT Delamibrands Kharisma Busana.

"The purpose of the implementation of ICW 2018 activities is to educate the workforce candidates about the challenges of the world of work during the period when Indonesia gets a demographic bonus", explained Chairman of ICW 2018, Rizki Distianasari after the event.

The activities of ICW 2018 are intended to provide understanding to the prospective workforce about the personality and self potential and to explore the motivation and passion of the candidate workforce to face the world of work and to provide practical knowledge for students, senior students and fresh graduates in writing or preparing a good application letter.

Furthermore, the students of Academic Year 2015/2016 said that this activity was expected to provide practical knowledge for the prospective work force (students and senior students) and the freshgraduate workforce in writing good and correct Curiculum Vitae (CV). In addition, they were also equipped with tips of how to face the interview stage when applying for a job.

"This ICW 2018 activity can provide general knowledge to the final semester students or fresh graduates on how to make good and correct CV and CV applications and provide general knowledge on the definition of recruitment and selection," said Skolastika Meta W.T., S.Psi.
