SLEMAN - A total of 911 participants from 13,957 applicants of the National Selection of State University Entrance (SNMPTN) 2018 at UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) were declared to be graduated. The graduation result of student's academic achievement tracking through the raport is announced today (17/04/2018) at 17.00 WIB in http://pengumuman.snmptn.ac.id page,

"Tomorrow we will also announce it in the newspaper. For those who do not have time to access can also check through newspapers, "said Vice Rector of Academic UPNVY, M. Irhas Efendi, on UPN Condong Catur Campus, Tuesday (17/04/2018).

The previous year on the same selection line had 12,734 participants, with a capacity of 681 students.

"This year the registrants are more than ever. The capacity of SNMPTN 2018 is 911 students. A total of 139 participants are bidikmisi, "said Irhas.

At the reception of SNMPTN 2018, from 21 program of study at UPNVY, it recorded Communication Science Program, has the highest number of tightening, followed by Mining Engineering and Petroleum Engineering. The tightness is the number obtained by comparing the ratio of capacity to the number of registrants.

The process of uploading academic data by the participants is done online on April 18 to 23, 2018. Uploaded documents are identity, raport, Family Card, parent's income, etc. Verification of participant documents or re-registration of participants is held at each PTN on May 8, 2018 along with the implementation of written examination of the Selection of Joint Entrance of State Universities (SBMPTN) 2018.

"The verification process is done by comparing data that had already uploaded online with the physical documents. Participants must come themselves during verification. Those who are not present will be disqualified, "said Irhas.

Students who do not pass SNMPTN do not need to worry, because there are still two other lines of acceptance of other State Universities, namely Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN) and Seleksi Mandiri from relevant PTN.

SBMPTN is a PTN  enrollment selection  which is known generally, namely using the grade of written examinations held simultaneously by all state universities. In SBMPTN, the grade variable during the high school is not taken into an account, the one which is taken into account is the grade of the result of the written exam entering  PTN on the H-day of selection.
