SLEMAN - As a State Defense Campus, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) declared its cyclone response to the terror acts that occurred last week. This statement was signed by the Rector of UPNVY, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sari Bahagiarti K., M. Sc on May 13, 2018.

In this statement, UPNVY also expressed grief to the victims of terror in Mako Brimob and three churches in Surabaya. Here is the letter of statement of UPNVY standpoint attitude.

STATEMENT

In response to the acts of terror that resulted in casualties, especially in Mako Brimob some times ago and the terrorist bombings in three churches in Surabaya, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta, Kampus Bela Negara stated:

1. Have deep concern and condolence over the loss of life in acts of terror and especially the bombing of three churches in Surabaya.
2. Condemn all forms of terrorism by any party that would undermine the harmony and peace of religious communities in Indonesia.
3. Reject all forms of extremism, intolerance and radicalism that destroy civilization and the values ??of Pancasila.
4. Urge and support the Government and the security forces to crack down on terrorism and root out its roots.
5. Invites all components of the nation to unite against extremism, radicalism and terrorism that threaten the unity of the nation and the unity of NKRI.
