SLEMAN – Being able to continue study in a college is a dream for most students. It was also envisioned by Anis Wulandari, one of the participants of Independent Selection held by the Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY), Sunday (15/07/2018). Although in her right hand was still sticking a white tape covering the wound needle intravenous, she remained on the spirit of taking the exam.

Born in Klaten, October 26, 2000, she was escorted by her uncle to the exam room after getting permission from the hospital where she was treated. Anis has been hospitalized for a week at Sardjito Hospital Yogyakarta because suffering from Lupus.

"We were directly from the hospital early this morning, Alhamdulillah the doctors allowed me to go. My father was still taking care of administration at the hospital, so my uncle delivered me here, " she said while waiting in front of a special classroom of UPNVY Technology UPT Building of UPNVY.

The second child of two children said that she was diagnosed with lupus when she was in junior high school, since then she was undergoing a regular treatment. For Anis, the pain does not prevent her from learning. While in hospitalization, she still took the time to study to prepare for the exam.

"After the chemotherapy I tried to take time to learn the examples of the exercises, but I only learedn a little because my condition was still weak, "said Anis.

She chose the Agribusiness Engineering Program as the first choice and Agrotechnology as the second choice.

Anis hopes to pass the exam so as to enjoy college. She admitted deliberately chose both the study program because she wanted to realize her dream of becoming an entrepreneur.

"I am happy to be an entrepreneur. Since junior high school, I myself tried to sell homemade food, " she admitted.

Anis promised that if she passed the exam, she would seriously finish her study.

On UPN Condongcatur Campus, the soshum exam attendees were seen entering the room. Unlike the scientists who started the exam at 07.30 pm, the participants of soshum exam group started at 10:00 pm, one of them was Chairul Ardi (18th).

She claimed to be diligent study for having this test. This youth alumni of SMK Negeri 1 Tapung, Kampar regency, Riau admitted her UN grade was not so good, so she studied harder to pass the test.

"My neighbors advised me to go to UPN. In addition to the good reputition, I hope by studying here, I can get a job with the provision of science that I get, "he said.

Chairul chose Economic Development Study Program as the first choice and Public Relations in second choice fot this Independent Selection.
