MANILA - Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) establishes a cooperation with Jose Rizal University (JRU) Philippines. Both universities agree to collaborate and corporate in the academic field. The commitment stated in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) script signed in the video and teleconference room of University of the Philippines on Diliman campus, Manila, Thursday (7/19/2018)
Representing the Rector of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta was the Dean of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences: Dr. Machya Astuti Dewi, M.Si. Meanwhile the JRU was represented by the Dean of Liberal Arts, Criminology & Education: Carlito D. Garcia.
"This form of cooperation is the exchange of faculty and research staff, research collaboration," Machya said.
Both sides, Machya continued, also agreed to discuss the joint titles, the organizing collaborations of academic or scientific activities, such as courses, conferences, seminars, symposia and lectures.
Meanwhile, JRU expressed its joy to establish the cooperation with UPNVY and expected to immediately implement the MoU.
"There are at least two faculties at UPN" Veteran "Yogyakarta who can immediately follow up the MoU, namely Faculty of Social and Political Sciences and Industrial Engineering Faculty. There are 2 majors that are relevant to the department in JRU, namely Business Administration Science and Informatics Engineering. "Continued Machya.
