In order to improve the laboratory management as well as the practicum quality for students, Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Engineering UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta (UPNVY), conducted a comparative study on laboratory and practicum management to Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), on Wednesday (6/9/2018).

The Dean of Faculty of Engineering UMM, Dr. Ahmad Mubin, M.T. welcomed the UPNVY delegation himself. On his welcome speech, Ahmad Mubin expressed his appreciation for the visit of Faculty of Industrial Engineering UPNVY to UMM.

‘With this visit, it is expected there will be experience sharing between both institutions, so there will be improvements in the future’, he said.

On the other hand, Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Planning, and Cooperation Faculty of Industrial Engineering, UPNVY, Ir. Mahreni, M.T., Ph.D, said this visit is to gain the experience in laboratory and practicum management for Department of Industrial Engineering, and also for Faculty of Industrial Engineering UPNVY.

The Head of Industrial Engineering Department, Faculty of Industrial Engineering UPNVY, Dr. Sadi, S.T., M.T. which also attending the visit, said his expectation that from this visit there will improvement and upgrading in the existing laboratory facilities to enhance the practicum quality.
