MADURA – In order to improve laboratory management as well as the practicum quality, Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Engineering UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta (UPNVY), conducted a study visit to benchmarking laboratory and practicum management at Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Trunojoyo Madura (UTM), on Thursday, 7 September 2018.

The Dean of Faculty of Engineering UTM, Dr. Rachmad Hidayat, M.T received the UPNVY delegation in Mini Auditorium, Faculty of Engineering UTM.

Rahmad said this visit is expected to facilitate the experience exchange between both parties, so there will be improvements in the future.

In regard to laboratory management, Rahmad explained that the practicums are conducted in integrated way by Laboratory Head, under the coordination of Vice Dean for Academic Affairs.

During the discussion, Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Planning, and Cooperation Faculty of Industrial Engineering, UPNVY, Ir. Mahreni, M.T., Ph.D, explained that the intention of this visit is to learn the experience in laboratory and practicum management for Department of Industrial Engineering, and also for Faculty of Industrial Engineering UPNVY.

Meanwhile, The Head of Industrial Engineering Department, Faculty of Industrial Engineering UPNVY, Dr. Sadi, S.T., M.T. said that beside to learn the laboratory management, the visit is also intended to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions.  (BMW-fti)
