Sleman - UPN "Veterans" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) will hold a new student orientation event called the Introduction to the Defense of State Campus Life (PKK-BN). The activity this time brings the theme of "Realizing Students Defending State Character in Facing the Challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0". PKK - BN must be followed  by the new students from both Diploma (D3) program and bachelor (S1) program accepted through the National Selection Entrance to the State Universities, Joint Selection Entrance to the State Universities and Independent Selection. The activity will be held from Monday, 12 August to 17 August 2019 in UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta campus environment.

The Chairman of PKK - BN 2019, Dr. Ir. Sutarto, said as many as 3,260 new student candidates would join the PKK-BN 2019 activities. The purpose of this activity is to provide the spirit and understanding of National Defense in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 in the world of education, as well as to introduce the campus environment to the new students.

"I hope that the new students in the midst of the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era will be able to be aware, ready and open-minded towards the changing times that are completely automated and digitalized in the future. Moreover, the students as the future successors of the nation must be able to adapt and survive amid changing times by staying hold on the spirit of Defending the Nation ", explained Sutarto.
