On April 18th, 2017, taking place on 1st floor of the Rector’s Building an MOU between Pertamina’s subsidiary company, Pertamina Hulu Energy (PHE) and UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta was signed, witnessed by the Deputy Rector Commissioning Students’ Affairs and Cooperation, Deputy Rector of Finance, Dean of the Faculty of Mineral Engineering Study, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, LP2M Secretary, Deputy Dean of Students’ Affairs and Cooperation of the Faculty of Mineral Engineering, DR. Aris Subyantoro, Oil Engineering lecturer, Head of the Bureau of Finance and General Affairs, Head of the AKPK Bureau and the PHE, witnessed by Ari Samudra, the Exploration Division and Rosalinda Raguwanti, the Head of Indonesian Association of Geophysics Specialists.
In her cordial speech, the Rector stated that the MOU signed had multifaceted benefits. Although cooperation has been frequently conducted but such cooperation has not been formally institutionalized and therefore is cannot be optimally utilized. From now we can use the MOU and in particular for accreditation. Borang.
It is expected that the MOU is not only for the studies but also for the other aspects, such as the social responsibility and is not only used by the Faculty of Mineral Engineering, especially by the Geological Engineering and Oil Engineering study programs, but also used by the other study programs, such as the Agriculture, Economy, Industrial Engineering and Social Sciences (Humanities) and Politics.
The President Director of PHE, Mr. GunungSaharjoHadi, in his speech stated that the MOU became a more specific collaboration, based on the mutual-complementary basis. In response to the request that the MOU does not only benefit the FTM (Faculty of Mineral Engineering but also other faculties, Mr. Gunung said that PHE’s activities are mostly connected with Oil Industry.
This cooperation is expected to be effective and may be implemented to the maximum.
