It also provides the guidelines for the formulation or the making of national policies related to trade. The roles and position of the State in free trade is that the State is the global main political actor in international relationship (Perspective of Realism). The State also serves the function to create welfare and prosperity for its people. The State is also supposed to manifest the message contained in the Preamble of Indonesia’s Constitution 1945. Conclusion, Our Government’s current policies are the subject of international concern for the WTO member countries. It is necessary to formulate the national policies in consistence with the provisions of the WTO Agreement (Legal Text). Any state government must understand MTS.
