Sleman- A total of 21 awards were given by the Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta to outstanding individuals. The award award was clustered in 4 categories, namely Anwara Baswara Karya (Alumni), Aniwrah Abiwara Karya (Lecturer), Anugrah Darma Karya (Educational Staff) and Aniprah Abipraya Karya (Student).
The award was given during the Open Senate Session in the commemoration of the 61st Anniversary of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta , which was held on Monday, 12/16/2019, at the WR Supratman Building, Auditorium of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta.
The Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta Dr. Irhas Effendi, MS said that the recipient of the award was given based on the Yogyakarta UPN "Veterans" who performed well at national, international and university level.
The Chancellor added that the award was given with the intention of giving more motivation the academic community and alumni. He hopes the winners will be able to be motivators to the people around them. "Thus, it can grow more outstanding UPNVY people”.

The alumni of UPN "Veterans" Yogyakarta who have achievements and dedication to the alma mater and country.
2. Anugrah Abiwara Karya (Lecturer)
The lecturers who have achievements in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education activities and his contribution to science and technology.
3. Grace Darma Karya (Educational Personnel)
The educational staffs who have achievements in carrying out their duties and functions as well as their dedication to provide excellent services in accordance with the rules and also the needs of stakeholders.

4. Anugrah Abipraya Karya (Student)
The students who have achievements academically and non-academically, superior personalities and character sof defending the Country.
On the same occasion, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta also launched the Integrated Information System which was named "SEMAR". It took its name from the Academic and Research Management System, taken from a puppet figure who is the advisor to the knights in the performance of the Ramayana story from the India.
