SLEMAN - UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) Taekwondo Team made achievements. A total of 8 medals were won by students who are members of the UPNVY Taekwondo Student Activity Unit at the prestigious event held at GOR Amongrogo Yogyakarta on 28-29 December 2019.

In the competition, Dojang UPNVY fielded 8 athletes for two categories. There  were  6 athletes for the Kyorugi (fight) category,and the remaining 2 athletes were in the poomsae category

Intensive training carried out for approximately 2 months was finally paid off with the acquisition of 3 gold medals, 2 silver and 3 bronze.

Three gold medals were presented by, Putra Edwardo Simatupang, Fatma Yustiani (Environmental Engineering 2019) and Muhammad Lutfi Aidilhaq (Business Administration 2019). The silver medals were presented by Chaeruddin Tito Nurrasyid (International Relations 2019) and Rezka Rindra Monica (Environmental Engineering 2017). Meawhile, the bronze medals were won by Muhammad Akbar Yanuar (Chemical Engineering 2019), Abil Milzam Syati (Agrotechnology 2018), and Indri Kurniawati (Environmental Engineering 2019)

The obtaining  of these medals  was the final match presented by Dojang UPNVY to close the year of  2019. In 2020, the team is preparing to compete in the Rahmi Kurnia Cup championship in March 2020. (wwj / PR)
