The Rector of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, together with her group, arrived in Bandung at 08.30 West-Indonesian Time, Monday, May 22nd, 2017.  Upon arriving at the Rector’s Building of ITB Campus on Jalan Taman sari, the Rector od UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta and envoys was welcome by the director of Public Relations and Alumni, head of the Protocol Sub-division  as well as the Deputy Rector commissioning Alumni Information in the main guest room.

The meeting of the Rector of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta Dr. Ir. Sari Bahagiarti K., M. Sc and Rector of Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) Prof. Dr. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, was held at 10.00 West Indonesian Time. Later the Rector of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta and her convoys were scorted to move to the Leaders’ Meeting (Rapim) Room A, 1st floor of the CCAR ITB Building in the Rapim A room  for a series of formal occasions to sign an MOU between  UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta and Badung ITB.

In her cordial speech, each Rector said this cooperation may be used and utilized for the best for mutual progress. In respect of the ITB’s international journals, UPNVY was given the opportunity to complement each other and learn so that UPNVY may be able to produce or publish good and qualified international journals.  In addition, this cooperation was expected to be filled with join researches as had been conducted previously when UPNVY was in the process of becoming a state university sponsored by ITB.

Accompanying the Rector of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta in the meeting were, among others, Deputy Rector Commissioning Students’ Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Ir.Singgih Saptono, MT., Dean of the Faculty of Mineral Engineering, Dr. Ir.Suharsono, MT, Dean of the Faculty of Indistrial Engineering, Ir.Tjukup Marnoto, MT, PH.d, and Head of the Sub-division of Cooperation and Public Relation, Marcus Kusunardijanto, S. Sos.
