Sleman_Tiga Prospective Deans of the Industrial Engineering Faculty (FTI) UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) were declared to pass the selection at the level of Academic Senate (SA) (28/2). The three FTI Dean Candidates for UPNVY submitted who got to the top three were Dr. Ir. Harso Pawignyo, M.T., Ir. Mahreni, M.T., Ph.D, and Ir. Nur Indrianti, M.T., D.Eng., IPU., ASEAN Eng.

Puryani, ST. MT as the Senate Chairperson of the Industrial Engineering Faculty of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta stated that the names of the three FTI Dean Candidates who passed the selection in the Academic Senate will be submitted to the Senate to immediately be elected as FTI Dean.

The Chairman of the FTI Senate hopes that the one elected as FTI Dean can advance the Industrial Engineering Faculty for the better; all programs can be run well and can also improve the accreditation rates for the better.

Eko Nursubiyantoro, ST. MT as the Chairman of the FTI Dean Election Committee UPN "Veterans" Yogyakarta said that the final stage of the election for the FTI Dean Candidates is chosen by 24 members of the FTI Academic Senate and the Chancellor. The three Dean candidates who qualify in the selection of the academic session present a work plan for 10 minutes without question and answer. The composition of the voting votes for UPNVY FTI Dean is 65% of the votes of FTI Senate members and 35% of the UPNVY Rector's vote. The final election plan for the FTI Dean will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at 09.00 - 12.00 West Indonesia Time, in the Informatics Department Meeting Room, Pattimura Building 1-3.

Eko explained that the three Dean Candidates resulting from the SA selection would follow the selection process at the Senate level to elect one person who would later be chosen as the elected UPTVY FTI Dean. His party has prepared various logistical needs for successing the election process at the Senate level, such as the availability of ballots, video presentations, screens and broadcast via video streaming.
