Sleman _ Three Students of Environmental Engineering Study Program of Mineral Technology Faculty, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) got achievements in essay and infographic competitions at the level of State Universities throughout Indonesia. This award was given along with a talkshow event and an exhibition of the National Water and Sanitation Festival which was held on February 15, 2020, in the West Hall and the West CC field of Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB).
Titi Tiara Anasstasia, S.T., M.Sc as the supervisor said that the three students of Environmental Engineering Study Program of Mineral Technology Faculty, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta who won the second place in the essay and infographic competition were Iqbal Samusa Ihsan Usama, Alya Alfiah Rachm and Sekar Tyasing Wicaksono. "The three participants are still in the fourth semester", she explained.
The competition was attended by 12 State Universities (PTN). The 12 PTN that participated in the essay and infographic competition were UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, Institute of Technology Bandung, Gajah Mada University, Brawijaya University, Sebelas Maret University, Bogor Agriculture Institute, Yogyakarta Health Polytechnic, Diponegoro University, UIN Bandung, Palangkaraya University and Jakarta State University", said Tiara, her familiar greeting.
Tiara added that this competition had a positive impact on students, especially students of the Environmental Engineering Study Program of Mineral Technology Faculty UPN "Veterans" Yogyakarta as the proving quality in the national arena.
Meanwhile, the Environmental Engineering lecturer at the Mineral Technology Faculty, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta added that this proud achievement certainly cannot be separated from the support of various parties, both internal and external support from the Mineral Technology Faculty, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta
