Sleman – After waiting for quite a long time, UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta has regained a S3 (post-graduate) program in Geological Engineering for its 2017/2018 academic year.  Registration for this Geological Engineering Doctorate Program at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta which is held under the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education will be based on Geological science researches to support the development in the fields of geological extraction, conservation, and mitigation. The research-based curriculum may be completed in 6 semesters. UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta has already had S1 Geological Engineering and Magister Geological Engineering study programs.  The establishment of the S3 (doctorate) Geological Engineering program is expected to generate qualified Human Resources in geological fields.
