Sleman- Dhella Rezki Legynia Putri, student of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta won the 1st place in the Generasi Berencana (Planning Generation) Ambassador (GenRe) DIY. Dhella, who previously won the title of GenRe Ambassador of Yogyakarta City in 2019, again represented the city of Yogyakarta to go to the provincial GenRe Ambassador event. GenRe is a program organized by the BKKBN (National Population and Family Planning Board) which is developed in the context of preparing family life for adolescents through an understanding of marriage maturity so that they are able to carry out the educational levels in a planned manner, and marry in full planning according to the cycle of reproduction health. The GenRe program is implemented through the development of the Youth Information and Counselling Centre (PIK) with an approach for adolescents according to the tendency of adolescents who prefer to talk about their problems with their peers. In order to increase the socialization and promotion of the GenRe program, especially the development of Youth PIK as a forum for information and counselling services, it needs a motivator figure among adolescents who are then called GenRe Ambassadors.

 Dhella Rezki Legynia Putri as the 1st place winner of i the Planning Generation Ambassador (GenRe) DIY said that registration was done online on 15 June-15 July. The registration verification was by sending of files via e-mail and making profile videos uploaded to a Youtube account, online written tests with material about GenRe (regarding GenRe, GenRe substances, reproductive health materials, general knowledge, and knowledge of the province of DIY), tests online interviews and talent shows uploaded to Youtube accounts. After a series of online selections, there were 20 finalists or 10 pairs of male and female students who had to take part in a series of offline activities that included training, debriefing, Social Media Challenge, Bakti GenRe, quarantine, to the Grand Final.

She added that the Grand Final of Duta GenRe DIY was held on September 19, 2020 at 12.30 which took place at the Grand Dafam Rohan Hotel Yogyakarta. This Grand Final event also followed strict health protocols by having "physical distancing" regulations and limiting the number of spectators (only invited guests).

"A memorable experience from this Grand Final event was when given the opportunity to get the top five, because it was really unexpected and very grateful to be called to be one of the finalists who got the top five. Alhamdulillah, I also got a valuable opportunity to be the 1st winner of this GenRe DIY Ambassador2020," explained Dhella.

The former management staff of the Human Resources Division of SME English Conversation and Discussion Club (ECDC) 2020 also stated that she had several achievements, including as 1st Place in Yogyakarta City Genre Ambassador 2019, 1st Place for Business Marketing Project KSM Marketing UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, and 3rd Winner of the Regional Youth Jamboree 2019. In addition, she is also active in joining the UKM English Conversation and Discussion Club (ECDC) of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta as a staff member of the Public Relations Division in 2020 and is taking a part in Youth GenRe Ambassador Association Yogyakarta, Youth PIK Pandansari Sorosutan, and GenRe DIY.

 "I am very happy and grateful, of course, to be able to meet 20 great people, to be able to process together to be an inspiration for people around, to have a new family too. Hopefully, I can give my best for the GenRe Ambassador event at the national level later, can bring the good name of DIY. I also hope that I can do and finish the mandate and responsibility given now (as a DIY GenRe Ambassador 2020) well," said Dhella.
